About the role

  • 6B is a 23-bed post interventional telemetry unit.
  • Staff receive specialized training for post catheterization, femoral sheaths, and Tikosyn administration.
  • Medical and post-procedural patients are cared for on this unit in addition to complex GI Oncology surgical post-op patients and inpatients needing chemotherapy and telemetry.

Responsibilities

  • Basic Life Support- Applicants will have 30 days from their hired date to provide completion of this certification if they don't have it already.
  • Employee Support Fund, for employees in need of emergency financial support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
  • Those with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
  • ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment.

Nice to have

  • telemetry experience preferred
