About the role

6B is a 23-bed post interventional telemetry unit.
Staff receive specialized training for post catheterization, femoral sheaths, and Tikosyn administration.
Medical and post-procedural patients are cared for on this unit in addition to complex GI Oncology surgical post-op patients and inpatients needing chemotherapy and telemetry.

Responsibilities

Basic Life Support- Applicants will have 30 days from their hired date to provide completion of this certification if they don't have it already.
Employee Support Fund, for employees in need of emergency financial support

Requirements

Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
Those with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment.

Nice to have

telemetry experience preferred
