About the role
- Job Description: Maintenance Mechanic The primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic are: Machine Repair - diagnose trouble, repair, install and set up machines, millwright work.
- Plumbing and Heating - repair, install various types of piping, replace thermocouples, light all gas burners, replace gas valves.
- Welding - arc, gas, submerged arc, brazing, and cutting.
Responsibilities
- General building maintenance and inclement weather upkeep.
- Will maintain chemicals for die cooling water systems.
- Performs a variety of rebuilding and repair bench-work, such as hand staplers, conveyor belts, soap agitators and pillow blocks.
- Maintains all necessary records in reference to trips.
Requirements
- Required to read and perform work from prints, sketches, and/or instructions.
- Picks up and delivers materials as required, in accordance with instructions of the supervisor.
