About the role
- SHIFT: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. The primary machining operation will be modification of steel blade cores, and the primary machine tool will be the Haas Gantry Milling machine.
- You will set up the machine, choose cutting tools, and write or modify basic CNC programs.
- When defects are detected, you will make corrections as needed.
Requirements
- Two (2) years minimum machine shop training and one (1) year machine shop experience required.
- Experience with other metal removal machines and grinders will be accepted but the candidate must demonstrate set-up and operation knowledge.
- One (1) year minimum experience required.
- Must be able to correctly interpret engineering mechanical drawings.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Required to wear safety glasses and steel toe shoes while working in the manufacturing areas.
- Overtime and Saturday work may be required with minimum 24-hour notice.
