About the role
- The Cost Analyst II is responsible for providing Cost of Goods Sold information to Commercial Managers and Program Management regarding existing technologies by using their expertise of Gentex manufacturing processes and analysis skills.
- This is an onsite position located in Zeeland, MI.
- It is not open to hybrid or remote work at this time.
Responsibilities
- Develop cost models for advanced, existing technologies with cross functional teams to support Commercial Management.
- Schedule time on the production floor on a recurring basis to increase understanding of manufacturing processes that drive product cost.
- Develop cost models for new technologies with the assistance of the Cost Manager.
- Develop cost models for Requests for Information (RFIs) to support Commercial Management and Sales, with the assistance of the Cost Manager.
- Develop and/or maintain reports to support Commercial Management.
- Interpersonal savvy - Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people. Building and maintaining solid working relationship with others.
- Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
