About the role
- Hawthorn River, a Computer Services Inc. (CSI) company, is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Project Manager II to help financial institutions successfully adopt and launch Hawthorn River's loan origination software.
- The Project Manager is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end delivery of projects.
- This role ensures projects are delivered successfully-from initiation through closure-while managing timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
- Drive effective hand over from project sponsors
- Lead and facilitate project kickoff meetings
- Develop and refine project plans based on scope, complexity, and impact
- Establish and manage overall project setup
- Maintain regular communication with project teams to ensure progress
- Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing multiple, complex projects
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Must be able to travel as needed for this role.
Nice to have
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification
- Familiarity with project management tools and Agile methodologies
- Experience with loan origination processes, lending workflows, or financial institution operations, including familiarity with the loan lifecycle from application through closing and funding.
- Experience implementing SaaS, banking technology, lending platforms, core-adjacent systems, or other customer-facing financial software solutions.
- In addition to its award-winning core banking platform, these include the latest in lending, digital banking, payments, financial crime prevention and cybersecurity.
