About the role

Tasks include journal entry preparation and processing, data verification, account reconciliations and issue resolution.

Perform analytical review on the more complex General Ledger accounts and research unexpected or unusual results. Provide analysis of the composition and validity of account balances
Assess current processes and create recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies
maintain strong internal controls
Ensure accounting procedures are documented; maintain strong internal controls
To provide General Ledger accounting support to The New York Times Company.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years general accounting experience
Experience with general accounting concepts and procedures

Experience with multi-currency general ledgers/processing

Experience with Workday

$75,000 - $85,000 USD
