Independently own the end-to-end design process, from user flow diagrams to polished designs that are ready for engineering handoff
Participate in discovery calls and visits with our users, synthesizing research into key insights that support your decisions
Partner with product managers throughout the design process to deliver solutions that bring value to our users and our business
Participate in design reviews by sharing your work and providing constructive feedback to other team members
Contribute to the design team's culture of collaboration and support
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences
Reporting to the Head of Design, this role is perfect for someone who is energized by complex, ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment and eager to grow with a well-funded, fast-moving startup.

5+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of delivering successful products from concept to launch
Expert proficiency in Figma
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and methodologies, with experience conducting user research and usability testing, and making data-driven decisions
Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude Code) to enhance various stages of the design process-synthesis, ideation, and prototyping

Familiarity with the commercial trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and/or construction, preferred but not required
An understanding of HTML and CSS principles, preferred
Familiarity with tools like Dovetail and Jira, preferred
