About the role

The business unit has approximately 4,500 employees with 27 manufacturing plants and 46 Distribution Branches in Europe, The Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Latin America, and the US.

Initiate, lead and sustain Zero Harm programs.
Maintain compliance for WPDES and POTW for two campuses.
Manage Laboratory to maintain and analyze samples for WDNR Registration and QA Product requirements
Manage the proper disposal, manifesting and profiling of solid waste, universal waste, special waste and waste water. This includes RCRA hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal wastes from two different campuses.
Utilize and manage outside contractors to keep systems running at an optimum level.
Work with subcontractors and safety officers to maintain a safe project environment.
Maintain performance of the laboratory, wastewater and groundwater treatment systems and make recommendations for continuous improvements.

Maintain inventories of PPE, chemicals and other environmental consumables required to operate all systems.

Four (4) Year degree in chemistry with five (5) years' experience preferred, but related technical field will be considered with five (5) years of experience preferred.
Candidates with a Two (2) year degree and fifteen (15) or more years of experience in related field in lieu of a degree.
Environmental Laboratory experience at a WDNR Registered or Certified Lab is preferred.
