About the role

  • Title: Junior Water Resources Engineer Location: Seattle, Tacoma, or Wenatchee, Washington Job Type: Regular Full-time What's the Opportunity?
  • Anchor QEA is seeking a water resources engineer to help expand our water resources engineering practice in the Pacific Northwest.
  • Preparing written reports and technical studies.

Responsibilities

  • Performing technical analyses and supporting the development of civil engineering design documents for water resources management, water supply, water conveyance, water storage, stormwater, and habitat restoration projects.
  • Performing calculations and completing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling in support of water resources projects.
  • Supporting development of civil engineering design drawings, technical specifications, and opinions of probable cost.
  • Self-motivation, drive, and proactive communication.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 1-4 years of experience in water resources planning, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and design and construction of water resources projects.
  • Experience with a diverse range of hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling and design software packages.

Nice to have

  • CAD drawing development (Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred).

Compensation

  • $ 78,120 - $ 86,910
