About the role
- As a contributing member of the LOCA, Containment & Stability Analysis Team, you will perform safety analysis for plant thermal-hydraulic Stability, plant noise, Power Range Neutron Monitor (PRNM) stability interface, and other analyses supporting reload applications for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) plants, including currently operating BWR plants as well as
- new plants (BWRX, Natrium) operating or planned worldwide.

Requirements
- Knowledge of reactor licensing requirements
- Experience with BWR simulator and use of 3-D neutron kinetics (e.g., PANAC)
- Experience with BWR/PWR T-H systems codes such as TRACG, RELAP, & TRACE
- Experience with Best Estimate and CSAU applications

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in plant T-H Stability Safety Analysis.
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
- If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
- Experience in BWR Plant T-H Stability analyses & methods, including plant noise analyses, PRNM stability interface, stability setpoints methodology, and frequency and time domain methodologies
- M.S. Degree in Nuclear Engineering with experience in T-H modeling as applied to nuclear reactor systems
Compensation
- For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $85,600.00 and $164,000.00.
- The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
- The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
