About the role

Conduct technical training to include but not limited to applied electrical, engines/powertrain, hydraulics and applied failure analysis,
Assists with creating a skills database and tracking training progress.
Help coordinate TCDP (Technician Career Development Plan).

Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job
Conduct safety training as required such as lock out tag out.
Must be able to work independently or as a member of a team handling multiple projects and meet demanding deadlines.
Must be available for frequent travel to support regional training initiatives.

Must have associate's degree (AA/AS) or equivalent.
Must have minimum 5 years' technical training experience.
Must obtain Caterpillar CIAP certification (Company Supported Program) within two years of employment.
Must have proven written and oral communication skills.
Must have strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be flexible and have a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Must have a valid CA Class C Driver's License, with a clean driving record.
Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain.
Hands/arms operating equipment, hand and power tools.
Up to 50 lbs. daily, frequent exertion.
Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts and tools.
