About the role
- The System Administrator II is responsible for the management of server, storage, and virtualization technologies across multiple client environments.
- The position requires candidates to have excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues.
- The person will work in a dynamic team environment, interface with internal team members and external customers.

Requirements
- Experience with designing and managing VMware clusters, including vCenter +
- Experience with VMware Horizon or other VDI technologies/solutions
- Experience with other virtualization technologies (Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix XenServer, Oracle VM, or Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization)
- 3-5 years of experience managing virtual/physical servers and LAN/SAN networked environments.
- Bachelors with 5+ or Master with 3+ Years of Experience

Nice to have
- Experience working with NTFS permissions and DFS name spaces for file sharing.
- Experience with data backup and restore
- Experience with Current versions of Windows (e.g. Server 2012, 2016, Windows 10 Enterprise)
- Experience with Vulnerability scanners such as Nessus, or SCAP scans in SCCM are desirable.
- Able to troubleshoot and remediate issues by reviewing system logs, etc.
- Experience with PKI and SSO implementation/infrastructure
- Experience with Ansible or other advanced automation technologies is a plus.
- Experience in managing Cisco networking devices
Compensation
- $ 115,000 to $ 130,000
- Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
