About the role

  • Ownership will include Key Management Service (KMS) architecture, enterprise server security, network security systems, and endpoint security, with a primary emphasis on enterprise KMS and server security.
  • This role is a key defensive position to ensure cryptographic keys and secrets are securely managed, and all servers have adequate protection to prevent unauthorized access, meet necessary compliance standards, and limit potential vulnerabilities.
  • You will serve in a critical role within a high-paced manufacturing environment responsible for analyzing external and internal threats in order to protect sensitive data within the organization's network and office automation devices.

Responsibilities

  • Key Management Service (KMS) Administration: Set up, maintain, and monitor the Key Management Service (KMS) to secure encryption keys, manage data encryption workflows, and protect sensitive organizational data.
  • Enterprise Risk Management: Manage IT security and IT risk across the company, including data systems, network, and Web.
  • Security System Oversight: Set up, maintain, and monitor various IT security systems and applications.
  • Network & Gateway Security: Manage and optimize network security controls, focusing on the policy, policy management, and monitoring of firewalls and proxy servers to secure inbound and outbound traffic.
  • Risk Identification: Identify security issues and risks, and develop comprehensive mitigation plans.
  • On-Call Availability: Provide reliable, rotating on-call support to ensure the continuous availability, troubleshooting, and rapid incident response for all owned IT security systems and applications.

Nice to have

  • SANS, ISACA, (ICS)2, CompTIA, Cisco, CERT, OR other recognized technical cybersecurity certifications are preferred.

Skills

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong foundational understanding of computer networking protocols, operation system security, and cryptography

  • Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.

Compensation

  • The current base salary range for this role is between $$95,000 - $120,000.
  • Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
