About the role
- It operates across four core markets: political news and opinion, business news and personal finance, golf, and sports and genre entertainment.
- You'll be a key player in the launch of MS NOW's Newsgathering operation as an essential member of the team.
Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative duties (i.e. answering telephones, scheduling/planning meetings, filing, planning travel arrangements for executives, submitting expense reports, etc.
- Prepare and update correspondence, reports, and documents using Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Maintain basic knowledge of current news events
- Organize internal and external visits with government officials, newsmakers, News Group and media partners
- Ability to manage relationships with clients, and interact with senior leadership and talent across the organization

- MS NOW is seeking an DC Coordinator to support the DC Bureau Chief, Deputy Bureau Chief and the operational needs of the DC newsgathering team.
Requirements
- Experience with newsrooms and newsgathering operations
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
- Ability to take initiative and self-start
- Must be willing to work in Washington, D.C
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- The ideal candidate will have a start-up mentality and an eagerness to take on new projects and responsibilities that grow with the bureau.
