About the role

Our Filtration and Performance Additives division is seeking four (4) Plant Mechanics in our Quincy, WA facility.
The Plant Mechanic will be responsible for performance of mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, installations, inspections and preventive and predictive maintenance activity.

Perform repairs with minimum supervision.
Perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor and fellow employees.
Follow directions as given. Retain acquired knowledge, build competencies and share skills.

S. degree from a community college or technical school.
Perform departmental or equipment cleaning as required.
Show proficiency in the identification and use of seals, lubricants, hose, chemicals, hardware and filters.
Complete required paperwork in timely manner.
Performs other duties as required.

Minimum of high school diploma and/or equivalent; prefer one-year certificate or A. S. degree from a community college or technical school.
4+ years of experience in the maintenance function in an industrial plant.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, and understand symbols for electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Working knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems.
Working knowledge and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and wiring.
