About the role
- Our Filtration and Performance Additives division is seeking four (4) Plant Mechanics in our Quincy, WA facility.
- The Plant Mechanic will be responsible for performance of mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, installations, inspections and preventive and predictive maintenance activity.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs with minimum supervision.
- Perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor and fellow employees.
- Follow directions as given. Retain acquired knowledge, build competencies and share skills.
Requirements
- S. degree from a community college or technical school.
- Perform departmental or equipment cleaning as required.
- Show proficiency in the identification and use of seals, lubricants, hose, chemicals, hardware and filters.
- Complete required paperwork in timely manner.
- Performs other duties as required.
Skills
- Minimum of high school diploma and/or equivalent; prefer one-year certificate or A. S. degree from a community college or technical school.
- 4+ years of experience in the maintenance function in an industrial plant.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, and understand symbols for electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Working knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems.
- Working knowledge and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and wiring.
