Responsibilities
- Successfully perform and review complex client engagements, including write-up and general accounting work.
- Support account reconciliations, financial reporting deliverables, and client documentation requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor or train junior team members.
- Close visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
- Must be able to communicate clearly by phone and in person, hear and distinguish speech and other sounds, and exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Nice to have
- Three or more years of financial reporting or accounting experience at a CPA firm preferred.
- Current CPA license or CPA eligible and working toward licensure preferred.
- Experience with Thomson Reuters Suite, QuickBooks Online, and Bill.com is a plus.
Compensation
- Lead month-end and annual financial reporting close-outs and tax reconciliation for assigned clients.
