About the role
- The organization includes six hospitals, 5 ERs, and over 80 clinics.
- Responsible for examining, evaluating and providing quick diagnoses in order to administer immediate and proper medical care.
- The Paramedic is responsible for documenting all aspects of care provided under their direction by EMS services.
Responsibilities
- The Paramedic also performs more invasive techniques to stabilize the patient's condition.
- Calmly and efficiently perform and make appropriate decisions rapidly under stress in emergency situations.
Requirements
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Required: Current Missouri licensure as E.M.T.- P AND For-hire driver's license (Class E) or greater (CDL) for operation of an ambulance in the state of residence
Nice to have
- Previous EMT experience
- Preferred: Previous EMT experience
Skills
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to work outdoors.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Is familiar with age specific needs for the patient population served.
