About the role

  • Assists with leading production room as appropriate.
  • include people leadership, store operations, customer service, financial management, inventory control, donation processing, and training and development of store Team Members.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
  • Partners with community businesses and organizations to promote Goodwill mission.
  • Leads the day-to-day operations of the sales floor.
  • Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
  • Builds a high-performing team.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.
  • Acquires and Retains Top Talent - Creates and motivates the highest quality workforce to ensure Goodwill becomes a best-in-class organization.
  • Leading Performance: Delivers high performance results through effective decision-making, planning, and execution to exceed customer expectations.
  • Manages Performance and Results - Develops and executes plans that drive accountability for operational success.
  • Leads the daily operations of the sales floor at a Retail Store location for Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay to help fund the Goodwill mission of ending unemployment.

Requirements

  • One-year work experience in Retail Management required
  • One-year customer service experience required
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation

  • Responsible for performance management (coaching, discipline, performance improvement plans, and annual reviews), staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.
  • Pay Range Minimum

  • This position is eligible for a monthly performance bonus of up to $1,000 based on performance goals.
