About the role

  • You will participate in designing and implementing projects that provide situational awareness and operational intelligence based on the OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System.
  • The majority of your time will be customer-facing and project-focused.

Responsibilities

  • DSA's CIP team delivers value by integrating various systems onto a common operating platform and deploying advanced analytics to uncover opportunities to improve efficiency and resilience to support a customer mission.
  • Within the CIP team, you will regularly work with and integrate data from building automation systems (BAS), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other 3rd party systems into the PI System.
  • You will leverage PI AF Analytics and reporting tools to support data analysis, validation, and identification of operational insights.
  • Our group supports various industries, including universities, government agencies, utilities, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Targeted training will be provided to support growth; however, candidates are expected to have a strong hands-on foundation in the PI System and be able to contribute independently within the first 1-3 months.
  • The individual will support the development and implementation of new integration projects as well as ongoing support of existing systems.
  • 60-70% customer-facing solution design and implementation, ~30-40% PI administration, troubleshooting, and operational support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Similar
  • 3+ years of work experience in a technical role with hands-on system implementation
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with the AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System across AF modeling, data integration, and system configuration
  • Self-starter with an ability to multi-task and effectively work on a large number of projects simultaneously
  • Ability to clearly and concisely articulate technical concepts in customer-facing settings
  • Excellent verbal and written proficiency in the English language
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Many of DSA's positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System Accreditation
  • Experience working with or integrating Building Automation Systems (BAS), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems into the PI System
  • General understanding of Central Plant Systems, Facility Management, and Energy Management
  • The candidate will work remotely
  • Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience delivering PI System integrations (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with Predictive Modeling, energy management, and advanced analytics is a plus

  • $60k-$70k
