Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical analyses, design development, and technical reviews for multidisciplinary infrastructure programs.
- Guide project planning, risk management, budget forecasting, and schedule development to support successful delivery.
- Support innovative problem-solving and application of advanced geotechnical methods for challenging site and design conditions.
- Help build and strengthen internal geotechnical capabilities through training, technical reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients across California's water sector, serving as a trusted technical advisor.
- Collaborate with regional and national leadership to strengthen AECOM's geotechnical presence in dams, levees, tunnels, and conveyance markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency.

- Provide senior-level geotechnical expertise for complex water infrastructure projects, including dams, levees, tunnels, pipelines, and conveyance systems.
Nice to have
- 15+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience with water infrastructure, dams, levees, tunnels, and conveyance systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical delivery on complex public infrastructure projects.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with public agencies and multidisciplinary teams.
- Project Management experience on complex public infrastructure programs.
