About the role

  • The Registration Specialist is responsible for check-in, preregistration, registration, preadmission, and admission.
  • The Registration Specialist is goal-oriented and makes decisions based on the worth and success of each individual involved in the Revenue Cycle.
  • Responsible for obtaining photo ID, insurance cards, signed forms and orders (when applicable) and scanning into the medical record at the time of registration/admission.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to proficiently utilize a computer and software programs is essential.
