About the role
- You'll be among our first engineers in Austin, embedded directly with our operations team and customers at our US headquarters.
- You'll hear a customer problem in the morning and ship a fix by the afternoon.
- You'll launch entirely new products from zero, with a feedback loop measured in hours, not sprints.
Responsibilities
- MySql, SQLC, buf.build, Temporal
- We have no product managers: you'll shape what we build and how we build it, working directly with our operations team, founders, and the Amsterdam engineering team.
- We don't just use AI-it's how we build.
- Launch and own entire products end-to-end-from zero to live and scaling-with direct customer feedback from day one
- Backend: MySql, SQLC, buf.build, Temporal
- Collaborate daily with our Amsterdam engineering team while bringing a uniquely customer-close perspective
- Be the first engineer at our US headquarters-foundational impact on how we build in Austin
- If you ship fast, build with AI, and want to launch products shoulder-to-shoulder with the customers who use them, we want to talk.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in full stack development and React-this shouldn't be your first engineering role, but we care more about what you can build than years on a resume
- You have a track record of shipping products or features from idea to production, not just contributing to existing codebases
- Experience with our specific stack (Go, TypeScript, React, Temporal)
- Startup experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience working directly with founders or as a product engineer
Skills
- You prefer large, established companies with defined processes and slow release cycles
- You're uncomfortable with ambiguity and rapid change
- You're not excited about wearing multiple hats and doing whatever it takes
- You think AI coding tools are a gimmick or a crutch
- You only want remote work-this role is in-person in Austin
