About the role
- Ellipsis Labs is seeking an SVM Smart Contract Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain critical smart contracts for the SVM, along with the appropriate monitoring systems
- Ellipsis Labs is a profitable, venture-backed New York-based startup building sustainable and efficient DeFi protocols on high-throughput decentralized infrastructure.
- Our long-term goal is to build a better financial system.
- Building on our experience developing efficient markets, Ellipsis Labs also operates SolFi, a proprietary automated market maker that provides efficient liquidity for key trading pairs.
Requirements
- Experience working with auditors
- A demonstrated track record of high agency, willingness to dive into unfamiliar technical and non-technical areas, and a team-first attitude
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining SVM smart contracts in production, with and without Anchor
- Deep understanding of Solana and low-level SVM concepts
- Passion for decentralized finance
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
- Experience in quant trading or DeFi
