About the role
- As a Station Technician at BRINC, you will directly contribute to BRINC's mission of supporting first responders while working at the intersection of advanced electronics and precision manufacturing.
- This role is based out of Seattle with the Station technician traveling to customer locations for repair and maintenance
- The ideal candidate has experience in networking, electromechanical assembly, and handling/installing electronics.
Responsibilities
- Perform soldering, wire/cable splicing and cable installation.
- Ensure all builds meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, testing results, repairs and any modifications.
- Travel to customer sites in varying weather conditions to repair and maintain BRINC hardware and software.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in the manufacturing/repair field with emphasis on large, complex electromechanical assemblies.
- Ability to understand and utilize work instructions and technical manuals.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools.
- Ability to lift up to 49lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand or be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Bachelor's degree in avionics, electronics, or related field
- Strong communication skills, ideally with prior experience interacting with external customers.
- Experience performing product repairs on-site with customers.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willing to travel 50% of the time.

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in avionics, electronics, or related field; or extensive relevant experience.
- Experience manufacturing UAV/UAS systems or infrastructure for commercial, industrial, or defense applications.
- Experience with networking equipment.
- Expertise in soldering, troubleshooting and using testing equipment.
