About the role
- Time entry templates, time calculations, time blocks, time types, and eligibility rules
- Time approval workflows (Business Processes), validations, and condition rules
- Period Schedules as it relates to Time Tracking
Responsibilities
- Manage configuration changes across environments, maintain documentation, and change control.
- Our teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence.
- Support testing and deployment of new countries, time policies, contractual requirements, or regional time rules.
- Calculated Fields (e.g., ESI, LRV, arithmetic/date logic) to support reporting needs
- Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and translate them into efficient Workday reporting solutions.
- Partner with HR/Payroll to gather requirements and recommend best practice configurations.
- Partner with HR/ER team on setup, testing, etc.
- Facilitate working sessions for solution design, including end-to-end time processes and reporting outcomes.
- Create test plans and execute unit/system/regression testing for time configuration changes and reporting.
- Support Workday releases by assessing impact to Time Tracking and validating critical reports.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with: Business Process configuration and condition rules
- ability to translate policy into system configuration.
- Experience supporting multi-country / multi-region time policies, works council/union rules, or complex pay rules.
Nice to have
- 3-5+ years of Workday configuration experience, with strong emphasis on Time Tracking (and Absence a plus).

Compensation
- The expected base salary for the position is between 95,000 USD to 100,000 USD.
