About the role
- Provides clinical direction for all aspects of patient care, specifically diagnostic and interventional Radiology, Vascular or Neuro endovascular procedures.
- Exercises appropriate judgement utilizing resources.
- All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health.
Responsibilities
- Maintains safe working environment.
- Performs inpatient/outpatient treatment procedures and physician orders.
- Performs proper body mechanics.
- Performs point of care testing.
- Reports errors/incidents/problems to appropriate personnel promptly and documents correctly in Event Reporting online system.
- Performs sedation and procedural documentation per policy.
- Creates and maintains all records and charts.
- Documents procedures and patient care which reflect treatment.
- Cleans equipment properly and documents; notifies appropriate department for repair and removes from service and place note on equipment not functioning correctly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience - Two (2) years of Critical Care, CCL or interventional experience
- Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of radiographic equipment operation and radiation safety.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- RCIS - Preferred
Skills
- Utilizes SBAR communication tools.
