About the role

Job Description As the Clinical Educator, you will be accountable for the training and education of field staff within the district.

Deliver PSS training programs in the district
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support certain stages of the recruitment process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing candidate responses.

Preferably has a minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience as a practicing Registered Nurse in a community setting
Knowledge of applicable community resources available for clients and families
Excellent computer skills including experience in Word, Powerpoint and Excel are required
Registration/licensing in good standing as a Registered Nurse with provincial regulatory college
Minimum of 3 to 5 year s experience in an adult education environment
C.N.A. certification as a Community Health Nurse is an asset
Working knowledge of applicable legislation including but not limited to the Mental Health Act, Substitute Decisions Act, Healthcare Consent Act, Privacy / Personal Health Information Act
Competence in best practices and standards of care for palliative, wound care, intravenous therapy, oncology and other specialties as relevant to the district needs
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Demonstrates commitment to professional development through involvement in committees, memberships, and associations relevant to home health care.
Possesses a valid driver's license and vehicle and able to travel across the district to deliver education to staff
Able to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Position Screening (VPS).
