About the role
- Job Description As the Clinical Educator, you will be accountable for the training and education of field staff within the district.

Responsibilities
- Deliver PSS training programs in the district
- We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support certain stages of the recruitment process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing candidate responses.
Requirements
- Preferably has a minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience as a practicing Registered Nurse in a community setting
- Knowledge of applicable community resources available for clients and families
- Excellent computer skills including experience in Word, Powerpoint and Excel are required
- Registration/licensing in good standing as a Registered Nurse with provincial regulatory college
- Minimum of 3 to 5 year s experience in an adult education environment
- C.N.A. certification as a Community Health Nurse is an asset
- Working knowledge of applicable legislation including but not limited to the Mental Health Act, Substitute Decisions Act, Healthcare Consent Act, Privacy / Personal Health Information Act
- Competence in best practices and standards of care for palliative, wound care, intravenous therapy, oncology and other specialties as relevant to the district needs
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates commitment to professional development through involvement in committees, memberships, and associations relevant to home health care.
- Possesses a valid driver's license and vehicle and able to travel across the district to deliver education to staff
- Able to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Position Screening (VPS).
