About the role

  • Semtech is looking for a numbers savvy Financial/Market Analyst Intern!
  • The Financial/Market Analyst Intern will be involved with all phases of planning, forecasting, financial control, reporting, analysis, financial modeling, and also participate on various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting for decision support.
  • Support and understand strategic goals and product lines of the SIP Division to help achieve their ABP.
  • Execute ad-hoc financial/quantitative analysis and various reporting requests in support of divisional and corporate managers.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance
  • Experience using Microsoft Office with intermediate excel skills (Vlookups & Pivot Tables).
  • Ability to prioritize based on opportunities and effectively multitask.
  • Incumbents may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically included in this description.

Nice to have

  • financial/business modeling experience a plus.
  • Detail oriented mindset, strong data analysis skills
