About the role
- The Director of Human Resources serves as the senior field HR leader for Astro Shapes' manufacturing operations, ensuring exceptional execution of the employee experience across all assigned facilities.
- Operating within Astro's Center of Excellence (COE) model, the Director translates enterprise HR strategies into effective local execution.

- Serve as the senior HR advisor to Plant Managers and Operations Leadership.
- Translate business strategy into workforce and organizational plans.
- Participate in operational leadership meetings and Enterprise Operating System (EOS) reviews/deployment.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, labor agreements, and regulatory requirements while proactively identifying and mitigating organizational risk.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Eight (8) or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or comparable professional certification preferred.
