About the role

We are looking for an experienced sustainability professional to join our growing Sustainability Advisor team and accelerate the adoption of best-in-class corporate sustainability programs.
Watershed's customers represent over 1 gigaton of annual emissions; if they were a country, they would rank fifth globally (just above Japan).
You'll be on the front lines of the climate fight - crafting the sustainability strategies that make business sense, and set the stage for bold action.

Martens use Watershed to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for voluntary and regulatory reporting including CSRD, and drive real decarbonization.

Have direct experience working within key sustainability-adjacent corporate functions (e.g., procurement)
Have direct experience working on decarbonizing physical supply chains
Have previous experience working in SaaS climate tech
Have an advanced degree in sustainability, climate science, environmental engineering, or related technical fields.
Are fluent in multiple languages (English, Spanish, French, or German).
Have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience including at least 2 years at a consulting firm with demonstrated excellence in client-facing roles and at least 4 years in sustainability (experience can overlap).
Ideally, you also bring a deep understanding of global supply chains, manufacturing processes, and / or what makes procurement functions excel.
Think clearly about complex problems and are comfortable using and speaking to data.
