Responsibilities
- Create Weekly Progress Report with construction supervisor and submit weekly
- Maintain a two-week look-ahead.
- Maintain daily logs including RFI and change order follow-up
- Review installation quality and document deficiencies for remediation
- While we hold our sprinkler fitters to a high standard and high level of accountability; this is a reciprocal relationship where the sprinkler operations team has the same accountability to ensure you're supported and provided with all the requirements to successfully deliver your project.
- The mechanism for obtaining support should be through the following channels:
- Technical and installation support.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
- Required tools and equipment are available
- A member of local 179 in good standing
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Capable of performing physical labour to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Majority of work all above head
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
- Read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Excellent communication skills
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
