About the role

  • 4 is the local planning and advisory body on matters affecting the West Side neighborhoods of Chelsea, Clinton/Hell's Kitchen, and Hudson Yards.
  • The District Manager prepares, attends and participates in evening full board meetings and in evening committee meetings as needed.
  • The District Manager works closely with elected officials, governmental agencies, residents, and service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the staff to:
  • Maintain attendance, voting records, and meeting records;
  • Maintain the filing and archiving system in support of the Board and its committees;
  • Maintain communication among board members, community members and others using postal mailings and e-mail, and updates the CB4 web site;
  • Perform community outreach;
  • Directly Supports land use committees;
  • Email a cover letter and resume in a word or PDF document to: negonzalez@cb.nyc.gov

Requirements

  • Oversees and troubleshoots all required video conferencing technologies

Compensation

  • Organize annual elections of officers;
