- Job: Graduate Assistant, CSC Computing Fellows Program Barnard's Vagelos Computational Science Center is looking for a graduate assistant to assist with their Computing Fellows Program.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage a Computing Fellows Slack
- Help document Fellow workshops and training materials in the CSC Google Drive
Requirements
- Knowledge of and willingness to use Google platform
- Experience in computer science, STEM (or a related field)
- The graduate assistant should have experience teaching undergraduate students in computing-related topics with an intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of at least one coding language.
Skills
- Experience with teaching undergraduates in computing-related topics
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of at least one coding language
- Experience with course preparation and management
- Additional tasks as assigned
Compensation
- The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
- The above hiring range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
