  • Job: Graduate Assistant, CSC Computing Fellows Program Barnard's Vagelos Computational Science Center is looking for a graduate assistant to assist with their Computing Fellows Program.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage a Computing Fellows Slack
  • Help document Fellow workshops and training materials in the CSC Google Drive

Requirements

  • Knowledge of and willingness to use Google platform
  • Experience in computer science, STEM (or a related field)
  • The graduate assistant should have experience teaching undergraduate students in computing-related topics with an intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of at least one coding language.

Skills

  • Experience with teaching undergraduates in computing-related topics
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of at least one coding language
  • Experience with course preparation and management
  • Additional tasks as assigned

Compensation

  • The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
  • The above hiring range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
