Responsibilities

  • POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale the web applications and services that power Storesight's retail intelligence platform.
  • As a senior member of the software development team, you will own significant areas of our product end to end-from architecture and implementation through deployment and ongoing reliability.
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Software Development Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-quality web applications and services that support Storesight's business operations and product roadmap.
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of new features and systems, optimizing for performance, maintainability, and reliability.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot custom integrations, APIs, and applications across the full stack.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, helping them grow their skills and deliver high-quality work.
  • Drive code reviews, champion engineering best practices, and uphold a high standard of code quality across the team.
  • Help define and document engineering standards, patterns, and architectural decisions.
  • Partner across teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency developing web front ends using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Vue.js (or a comparable modern framework), and related technologies.
  • Strong proficiency with backend technologies supporting a web tech stack, including relational databases and API design (experience with Python is a strong plus).

Compensation

  • $165,000.00 - $180,000.00
