Responsibilities
- Develop and implement objectives, plans, and priorities to achieve quality control goals
- Assist with and periodically deliver internal and external audits
- Maintain continuous improvement practices in work area
- Record and maintain receiving inspection results
- Maintain gauge calibration database and records
- Perform product testing during manufacturing and record results
- Perform start-up and changeover audits to verify product specifications
- Ability to read and comprehend documents in English, including policy manuals, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- You'll be responsible for auditing packaged, staged, and loaded shipments to ensure compliance with Cornerstone Building Brands quality requirements and specifications.
Requirements
- Tolerance for moderate noise levels (hearing protection may be required)
- Strong understanding of safety rules and precautions in manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in general mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, percentages, division)
- Ability to bend, stoop, use hands and fingers to handle objects
- Ability to work in areas near moving mechanical parts with occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals and extreme temperatures
Compensation
- $22.00 per hour
