About the role
- The consultant will assist organizations in improving their performance through the assessment, identification and implementation of strategic planning and goals.
- Communicate analytical methods and results to clients in a clear and effective manner.
- Approve technical decisions related to complex research, planning, and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and/or independently perform a wide range of highly complex, energy-related analysis.
- Independently manage assigned tasks, analyses, and projects to the client's satisfaction.
- Develop project deliverables including written memos, reports, and presentations and manage the QA/QC process on those deliverables to the client's satisfaction.
- Perform QA/QC on complex analysis performed by others to ensure deliverables are high quality, sensible, and error free.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to maximize productivity and cultivate future opportunities.
- Develop and execute analysis plans for complex tasks and/or projects.
- Develop and demonstrate expertise in a chosen practice area by staying at the forefront of the industry in terms of methods, and or innovations.
Nice to have
- Leading skills with one or more programming languages, R, Stata, SQL, SAS, Python MA/MS in a related field preferred Additional certifications may be preferred i.e. CEM, IPMVP, etc.
- 10 or more years in the energy industry Active membership in one or more industry groups or associations preferred
