About the role
- The Intermodal Coordinator Dispatch (ICD) is responsible for managing US based city drivers as they relate to the intermodal business segment.
- The ICD is expected to uphold Bison's policies and procedures while managing drivers, drayage providers, and equipment.
- Shift: Monday to Friday, standard business hours.
Responsibilities
- The ICD will plan and dispatch city drivers throughout the US network and will be expected to manage his/her fleet to meet expected LOS.
- Thrive in a supportive team that provides coaching and training to help develop your skills and progress your career
Nice to have
- 1-3 years' experience in dispatch, planning, transportation, logistics, or a related role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Monitoring equipment pools at customers, drop yards, and rail yards to ensure equipment is turning in a timely manner.
- Assigning the correct equipment type to each load per asset network defined by manager.
- Reporting damage to containers to the manager and attended to Ensure equipment is spotted at the correct location in Visual Dispatch.
