About the role
- That means identifying opportunities, negotiating deals, and integrating deeply with product, legal, and our publishing business development team to shape how AI companies license and use creative content responsibly.
Responsibilities
- Execute our AI partner strategy: Architect and execute a partnership strategy aligned with our licensing goals and product roadmap.
- Build and close strategic relationships: Identify, negotiate, and close partnerships with major AI players and high-potential startups.
- Own the full lifecycle: Manage the full partner journey - from prospecting and diligence to onboarding, technical integration, and long-term relationship management.
- Operationalize and scale: Define KPIs, track performance, and iterate on internal processes and partner playbooks to scale success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with publisher BD, product, and legal teams to structure deals, ensure successful implementation, and advocate for partner needs.

Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or product partnerships preferably within AI, data, or technology sectors.
- Proven track record negotiating and closing complex partnership agreements, working cross-functionally with legal and other internal teams.
- You are resourceful and creative and are comfortable being the sole person in your lane.
