Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and other metrology tools.
Perform pump component repairs including shafts, sleeves, casings, wear rings, impellers, and related parts.
Support supervisors and coordinators with technical input on repair feasibility and machining approach.
Maintain equipment, tooling, and work areas in good working order.
Support cross-functional coordination with welding, assembly, inspection, and operations teams.

Experience & Skills
7+ years of hands-on machining experience in a job shop, repair shop, or industrial manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle complex, non-routine machining and repair work.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to lift up to (add weight, e.g., 50 lbs) with assistance.
Use of PPE required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of fits, tolerances, and materials.

Willingness to mentor and support junior machinists.

Strong experience with manual machining
CNC experience is a plus.
Experience machining pump components or rotating equipment is strongly preferred.
