Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, and sustain the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Support incoming inspection and communicate with suppliers regarding SCARs and other quality issues.
  • Develop and update PFMEAs and Control Plans, as necessary.
  • Perform internal audits and mentor process owners toward continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the advancement of quality systems and plant operations.
  • Strong collaborative team player who can build trust across shop-floor teams and leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within a Quality or Manufacturing background.
  • Must be able to perform sedentary work as well as move about the production floor.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and ascend/descend stairs.
  • Strong computer skills, including high proficiency with the MS Office Suite.

Compensation

  • $82,500 - $109,500 / year

  • This role also supports plant activities in customer issues, supplier issues, and will initiate corrective actions with an emphasis on process improvement.
  • The mission of the Manufacturing Engineer is to enhance the quality of materials and products through detection, analysis, and correction of conditions leading to nonconformance.
