Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
SWIFT VA is seeking a Senior Dev/Systems Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5-10 years of experience Software Developer.
Strong proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition, Spring Boot, and JavaScript.
Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and Open API.
Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git and Bitbucket.
Experience with build automation tools like Maven.
Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse IDE.
Knowledge of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and secure coding practices.
Experience working within a Software Development Environment.

Solid understanding of web services and web technologies, including Java Servlets.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $101,303.00 USD Annual to $188,135.00 Annual USD.

Ensure the security of applications through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) implementation and best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle, including code reviews and testing.
