About the role

Paramont Machine Company (PMC) is growing their team and looking for a Production Planner!
Effective team collaboration across departments is crucial in this role to coordinate workflows, materials, and labor, utilizing the ERP/MRP system (Oracle E1) to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, managing stock to avoid shortages while preventing overstocking.

Production Scheduling: Develop detailed, achievable production schedules (daily/weekly/monthly) based on material availability, labor, and machine capacity.
Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with sales and manufacturing to ensure purchasing and production schedule match with customer demands.
Ability to analyze large datasets to forecast demand and optimize scheduling.
In this role you will create, manage, and optimize the production schedule to meet customer demand efficiently while minimizing costs and inventory levels.

Collaborate with sales and manufacturing to ensure purchasing and production schedule match with customer demands.

3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, purchasing or materials management in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NAV) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, purchasing or materials management in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar, such as those from ASCM (formerly APICS) preferred but not required.
