Responsibilities

  • Direct and actively participate in all stages of model development from data collection, model building, model validation, testing, calibration, and documentation.
  • Lead modelers and analysts in the team on the art and science of modeling, data analysis, documentation, decision trade-offs between model complexity and model deployment.

  • Direct and lead the best practice in model development, coding, and systems.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience leading a team of modelers and communicate model results to stakeholders and senior management.
  • 4 years of experience with Model design, development, documentation and compliance aspects of quantitative models.
  • 4 years of experience in Programming with at least two of the following: Python, R, SQL.
  • 4 years of experience with Comprehensive business and technical knowledge of credit risk management methodologies and techniques.
  • 4 years of Experience with regulatory model compliance including stress testing and model validation.
  • 2 years of experience with credit scoring, data mining, or predictive modeling.
  • Any amount of experience with XGBoost.

Nice to have

  • Requires a Ph.D. in Statistics, Math, Finance, Economics, Operations Research, or related field plus 8 years of experience in a related occupation.

Compensation

  • The estimated salary for this role is $236,775.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
