About the role
- Draft communications related to governance activities, including meeting notices, reports, minutes and policy updates.
- Conducting research and analysis on governance policies, procedures, and related best practices.
- Participate in other various special projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate records of governance decisions and policy updates, and support timely updates to official documentation.
- Assist with data collection and analysis to support governance processes and reporting.
Nice to have
- September 1, 2026 - April 30, 2027 with the possibility of extension.
- (Skills and Abilities) This internship is open to all current USask graduate students.
- Previous involvement in academic governance or related administrative roles is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail are also considered an asset.
Compensation
- Assisting with the development of the College's annual governance calendar, including coordinating governance committee activities, scheduling meetings and preparing agendas.
