About the role

  • We are looking for a Medical School Admissions Consultant!
  • If you are currently in residency and passionate about mentorship, coaching, and helping students reach their full potential in the medical school admissions process, this could be the role for you.
  • You'll work closely with pre-med and medical school applicants to track their progress, strengthen their applications, and guide them through every step of the med school admissions journey, including AMCAS and AACOMAS applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support students with project planning, application timeline management, and progress tracking through internal organizational tools

Requirements

  • Expertise in project management and applicant tracking
  • Currently in your residency program (MD or DO)
  • Graduated from a U.S. medical school
  • Previous experience on a medical school admissions committee, including reviewing applications and participating in acceptance and rejection decisions
  • A passion for mentorship and coaching pre-med students
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills, particularly for medical school essays and personal statements
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Experience in education, coaching, tutoring, or mentoring students
