About the role

Great Gray is looking to add a Senior IT Project Manager to our Business Transformation team.
While this role sits within Business Transformation to ensure adherence to project management best practices, common tooling, and enterprise-wide oversight, the primary driver and stakeholder group for this role will be the Technology team.
The IT Project Manager provides a unique opportunity to serve as the connective tissue between technology execution and enterprise project governance.

Lead and direct complex, cross-functional technology projects ensuring familiarity with scope, objectives and technical dependencies.
Partner closely with the Technology team as the primary project driver while maintaining alignment with Business Transformation standards and governance practices
Establish and document clear roles and responsibilities for project team members across technology and business functions.
Develop and update project plans including tasks, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, timeline, and status.
Manage projects in Smartsheet, the Enterprise Project Management Software, ensuring consistent use of shared tools and templates across enterprise projects
Facilitate project meetings and create & publish all project and meeting materials, including technology summaries accessible to non-technical audiences.
Manage project budget, including vendor and licensing costs, where applicable.
Develop and execute change management plans to support technology adoption across impacted teams and business units
Interact with employees at all levels of the organization as well as external technology vendors and partners involved in projects.
Manage changes to project scope and schedule.

however, occasional travel may be required on a project basis (up to 15%).
Bachelor's degree in in Information Technology, Computer Science, a business-related field or equivalent experience.
Experience working closely with or embedded within a Technology team as a primary stakeholder is required.
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
This position will work remotely from the Eastern or Central Time Zones; however, occasional travel may be required on a project basis (up to 15%).

Experience in the financial services industry or technology industry is preferred
Experience working with or managing projects in Smartsheet is preferred.
PMP and Agile certification a plus.

$125,000 - $150,000
This base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
The pay range displayed above is the base pay compensation range that Great Gray expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting.
Individual compensation within this range depends on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, candidate's prior education and relevant work experience and training as well as position location and local market demands.
Our pay-for-performance culture also includes participation in an annual incentive bonus plan for this position which is not included in the 'Base Pay Range' noted above.
