Responsibilities

  • Partner with Application Development teams to build application resiliency, implement service level objectives, and establish end-to-end observability.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate knowledge of CI/CD tools, UNIX/Linux operating systems, Ansible and Playbooks, and ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with databases and message-based software systems is essential.
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems is also required
  • Possess basic knowledge of Oracle and other databases, ensuring effective management and troubleshooting
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
  • Experience with source code repositories such as GitHub and Bitbucket
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM

Compensation

  • The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position in Virginia is $101,303.00 USD Annual MINIMUM to $188,135.00 USD Annual MAXIMUM.

  • Problem Management: Resolve moderately complex problem management issues by investigating and implementing solutions for systems/operations, including installations, setups, error messages, online transactions, system/application status, testing solutions, and operational procedures in line with service level agreements (SLA's)
