About the role
- Conveying, loading, palletising, packing, sortation and distribution - BEUMER Group is a leader within the development and manufacture of high-technological intralogistics systems for global markets.
- The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on the material handling system at Toronto Pearson Airport.
- The work performed falls under the direct supervision of the Operations & Maintenance Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager or Shift Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance and clean equipment and surrounding areas
- Support BEUMER Group systems based on customer requirements
Requirements
- Licensed Industrial Millwright (443A) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial setting, preferably working with baggage handling systems or automated material handling equipment
- RAIC Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain clearance as required
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant systems and products
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
