Lead institutional planning, assessment, and continuous improvement efforts
Lead philanthropic engagement and advancement efforts in partnership with the LSU New Orleans Foundations and university leadership
Recruit, develop, and retain qualified faculty, staff, and administrative leadership
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the LSU System President and System leadership, ensuring compliance and accountability
Foster collaboration with business, industry, government, and community organizations through public-private partnerships, formal industry collaborations aimed at developing strong talent pipelines, and create a nexus for urban innovation
Support a campus environment that values integrity, accountability, and respect
Demonstrated ability to lead complex organizations through periods of change and transformation

Experience working effectively with faculty, staff, students, governing boards, senior leadership, and external stakeholders
Familiarity with the mission of a metropolitan university and regional workforce needs
An earned terminal degree from an accredited institution
Track record of working within private-public partnership models and experience in economic development
Experience within a public university system
