About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to provide essential security and protection to the Werner Corporate Headquarters personnel and assets.
Key duties involve proactively mitigating risks against: Fire, water, electrical, and safety hazards, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.
On a case by case basis, the company may provide 30 days to acquire a valid conceal carry permit.

Responsibilities

Warns violators of rule infractions such as loitering, smoking, and missing employee badge, and documents the incident. (2%)
Escorts and assists employees, escorts terminated employees from the building, and checks the identification of building visitors during non-working hours and working hours. (5%)
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel. (5%)

Nice to have

High school graduate or equivalent experience.
Six months to one year of related experience, Military, Security, Law Enforcement and/or Corrections is required.
Six months of PC experience including Windows.
Certification in CPR preferred.

Skills

Skill in operating a PC including Windows.
Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Must be 21 years of age or older.

Compensation

$75k-$100k
